“Yes,professor. Well... I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation. Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation...”
“We have also come to this hallowed spot, ern•••well••• to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage ••••••in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now•••ern••• is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now•••yes, ern••• is the time to rise from the dark and •••ah•••ern•••desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice...”
背到后面开始的“I have a dream that•••”时,墨筱天已经心定很多•••快结束了嘛。
“I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today!”
